From the Trenches to the Safety Industry
ChainCore was founded by Izaak MacPhail, an experienced construction professional who built his career working directly in the field before transitioning into occupational health and safety.
His experience began in physically demanding construction environments — from digging trenches and performing labour-intensive work to reinforcing concrete structures on high-rise developments and working in mining and industrial environments.
After years of working directly alongside tradespeople, equipment operators, supervisors, and project managers, Izaak transitioned into the safety industry. This gave him a valuable understanding of both sides of construction: the practical realities workers face every day and the regulatory responsibilities employers and contractors must manage.
ChainCore was created to bridge the gap between field operations and workplace safety management. Our mission is to help contractors operate safely, remain compliant, protect their workforce, and keep projects moving efficiently.
